Who We Are

UHS Keystone School - Vallejo is a year-round, non-public school serving students who have been designated emotionally disturbed and students with developmental disabilities grade K-12. We provide intensive behavioral services, individualized educational plans, and individual and mental health group services. Our programs are research-based, meaning that we place primary emphasis on delivering services scientific research indicates are best for the population of students we serve. Additionally, these programs are fully in compliance with best practices standards established by the California Department of Education and our local school districts. Our positive behavior management system is incentive-based, and our commitment to careful, data-based, monitoring of each students progress toward individualized behavioral and academic goals helps us maximize each students potential to learn and develop, as well as facilitate eventual transition back to public school.

Additional Information
All of our students are referred to us by our local SELPAs and their school districts. The student’s Individualized Education Plan (IEP) must identify that student as needing special education services. An interview with the student and parent/caregiver is required prior to admission. Keystone School at Vallejo is a “restrictive environment”, not an open campus, and students are supervised at all times.
